2023 Charity Partner: Special Olympics of Kansas

We were able to raise over $10,000 for our friends at Special Olympics

We couldn’t have done that without the help of our sponsors, participants, volunteers, and vendors. The collective effort from all of you helped us put together a super successful event. Thank you.

There's no better way to start off your Thanksgiving day than by running/walking a 5K!

The Running Collective will be hosting their 2nd Annual Pittsburg Turkey Trot on November 23rd at 8am.

Participants will receive a shirt, chip-timing race bib, and medal. We will have a photographer to capture you as you cross the finish line.

We will also have awards to be presented for overall male and female and also by age group.

Early bird registration is $30 + service fees and it goes until September 1st.

Regular registration is $35 + service fees and it goes until the day of the event. Same day registration will be available but shirts cannot be guaranteed.

18 year old and younger can be registered for $20 + service fees.

Oh, and did you know that all of the proceeds from the 2023 event will be going to our charity partner, Special Olympics of Southeast Kansas? How cool is that? Even more of a reason to sign up and support!

If you have any questions or interested in sponsoring our event, please reach out to us at renato@runningcollectiveks.com

Now what?

Thanksgiving morning, the race will start right around 8am. We’ll host the award ceremony within 30 minutes of the last participant crossing the finish line.
